Honeybee Inspired Talk & Workshop

Thurs Aug 23rd 7.30 – 9pm, Auditorium, Roe Valley Arts Centre, Limavady Spend an evening with Roe Valley Beekeepers’ Association for a glimpse into the wonderful craft of beekeeping, and be inspired with short talks from beekeepers on their work during the beekeeping season.  Various displays will be available such as honey and beeswax, mead, beekeeping equipment and bee friendly planting. Sat 18th August Scything is a traditional hay meadow cutting technique and is perfect for managing your own meadows, as well as for areas that are more tricky to manage with modern machinery. Join Neil Foulkes for a beginners training session on the traditional skill and art of scything.
