These are generally narrow verges with an upland aspect; on the higher ground where soils are thin look out for orchid spikes, heathers, bilberry, tormentil and sedges. On lower ground the verges are lusher and have stands of umbellifers and knapweed.
This exciting project is led by Causeway Coast to focus on the conservation of semi-natural grassland over the next three years.
