Don’t Mow Let It Grow is a Council wide pilot project to make small changes in our management of public grasslands for big benefit to the biodiversity they support. We have selected a number of road verges and open space grassland, based on various criteria which can be viewed / download in the resource section.
These sites will be managed in a traditional meadow way, which is to cut once a year and where possible / practical the cuttings will be removed. This map shows the location of these trail sites.
