Don't Mow Let It Grow

This exciting project is led by Causeway Coast to focus on the conservation of semi-natural grassland over the next three years.

Mullan Road

Mullan Road from Tullaghans Road junction to Slievenaghy Road junction

This road has steep and narrow verges which are nevertheless botanically rich in places with lady’s bedstraw, yarrow, bird’s-foot trefoil and thyme. There are also remnants of heathland flora such as bell heather, heath bedstraw and bilberry.

Amenities

When exploring the verges and open space grasslands you may come across interesting findings.
